Afrin, al-Shahba children celebrated "World Children's Day"

In order to instill happiness and joy in the faces of children, on World Children's Day, which marks November 20, the Psychological Support Committee, in cooperation with the Democratic Society Education Committee and Culture and Art Movement, organized a celebration for the children of Afrin and al-Shahba cantons.

The celebration was attended by hundreds of children of Afrin and al-Shahba, teachers of the Democratic Society Education Committee and administrators in the Kurdish Red Crescent, and Culture and Art Movement,.

The children raised banners reading, "It is My Right to Live in Good Health, I Have the Right to Play, It is My Right to Live in Safety, It is My Right to Be Heard."

The celebration began with holding a minute of silence, then "The Berxwedan Dancing Band of Culture and Art Movement presented a number of dance performances from Kurdish folklore.

Then the members of the Kurdish Red Crescent presented a play, centered around the attacks and shelling carried out by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on Afrin, and how the children of Afrin came out of their homes forcibly.

Then Serdem Singing Band of the Culture and Art Movement presented a number of revolutionary songs.

It is worth mentioning that the Psychological Support Committee will conclude its activities on the occasion of World Children's Day by organizing a celebration in Tel Refaat district.
