Al-Shaddadi people: We are against Turkish occupation

Some external powers, especially the Turkish occupation, are trying to stir up strife and chaos among the peoples of North and East Syria. They want to distort the image of the Democratic Autonomous Administration and the democratic project and strike the social fabric and co-existence among the components, and they claim that there is no security in al-Raqqa, Manbij and all areas of the Autonomous Administration.

In this context, Hawar news agency (ANHA) met with the notables and people of al-Shaddadi district, confirming their rejection of the Turkish occupation and their adherence to their Autonomous Administration.

The sheikh of al-Fadil clan Mannaf al-Hajj Raja pointed out that the allegations made by Turkey are to instigate strives among North Syria's people to preserve their interests in the region.

He pointed out that since four years, we have not found security and safety only when we got liberated by virtue of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) from all terrorist gangs led by Turkey.

Al- Hajj Raja said that they live their normal lives within the Autonomous Administration and added, "We do not accept any attacks or any external interference, especially by Turkey."

In the end of his speech, al-Hajj Raja wished that SDF would liberate the remaining areas controlled by IS mercenaries backed to Turkey in order to restore security and safety to their people.

Ahmed al-Dakhil, a resident from al-Shadadi district, refuted the rumors broadcasted by Turkey and its mercenaries about the lack of security in the city of al-Raqqa and Manbij. He said, "The liberated cities' people live safely by virtue of SDF."

"In the light of DAA, we enjoy security and safety, and we in al-Shaddadi district found safety only when we got liberated by SDF from IS mercenaries," he added.

For his part, the member of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) in al-Shaddadi district, Mohammed Khalif, said that all the Syrian people are one hand against Turkey, and we do not allow any external interference."
