Sara's parents: Murderers of our child must be held accountable

The Turkish occupation state is still continuing its series of violations inside and outside the country. While Turkey is experiencing economic, political and social crises at home. It is launching attacks against the peoples of the neighboring countries.

The girl whose name is Sara RIfat Mustafa who is at 6 years was martyred on November by sniper's bullet while she was returning from the school in her village Tel Fender which is considered one of the most egregious violations practiced by the Turkish occupation army against humanity.

The martyrdom of the girl Sara, and targeting the journalists and correspondents of ANHA on the border with the Tel-Abyed / Girê Spî showed the Turkish occupation's brutality.

"My daughter was in the first grade. While she was returning from school, the Turkish occupation army who are stationed on the border snipped her. Turkey does not differentiate between the young and the old," said Rifat Mustafa, Sara's father.

"But unfortunately, here in Syria, everyone is silent and no one cares about the children and the evidence is that my daughter was killed by the Turkish occupation state. If a child would be killed outside Syria, the whole world would condemn that," Rifat Mustafa said.

In response to the repeated Turkish violations and attacks on the border and targeting the schools, parents are afraid to send their children to school to avoid repeating the scenario of what has happened to Sara

Fatima was surprised by the international silence and the silence of Human Rights organizations towards what crimes are being committed by the Turkish occupation state against our children, and my daughter was one of the victims of these violations."

"Our children are being deprived of education because of Turkey's violations. Turkey's goal is to drive us out of our villages, but we are steadfast and we will never allow them to do so," Fatima said about her fear of sending her children to school for fear of being targeted again.

At the end of their speech, Sara's parents called on the international community and Human Rights organizations to break their silence and hold Turkey the accountable for its criminal act.
