3 Cylinders of toxic gas found in al-Tabqa

Explosives experts of the Internal Security Forces of al-Tabqa city found during the past two days ,3 gas cylinders, northeast of the city, containing toxic chemical formulations, they were destroyed and deactivated.

The General Administration of the Internal Security Forces of al-Tabqa reported that their explosives experts had detected poisonous substances left behind by IS mercenaries in "al-Wediyan " area stored in three domestic gas cylinders, and equipped with several valves, each weighing approximately 20 kg. Most of the effects of these substances "damage the respiratory cells and cause deformities in the structure of the skin."

Therefore, the Internal Security Forces participated in the process of destroying these toxic materials in coordination with the International Alliance Team and experts from the Syrian Democratic Forces, through a special way in which these materials are dealt with by appropriate means adopted by explosives experts in the security and military systems.

It is noteworthy that the Internal Security Forces revealed these cylinders after the discovery of fifteen large cylinders of, "CL2" gas in earlier times in al-Raqqa city and the southern countryside.
