Mother of struggler Mazloum Dogan died at age of 94

The mother, "Kabira Dogan", who was receiving treatment at the " Depê " hospital in Xarpêtê village of Bakur Kurdistan, died on Sunday. The body of the martyr's mother and one of the leading cadres of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) Mazloum Dogan will be buried on Tuesday in Taman village of "Koman" hamlet in Mazgirta district  of Dêrsim.

It is noteworthy that the martyr Mazloum Dogan of the founding cadres of the PKK, a member of the Central Council of the PKK, and the brother of the martyr  Dalil Dogan. He was born in 1955 in Tehman village. He joined the ideological group of the PKK in 1976 and was arrested on  September 30- 1979.

Mazloum Dogan was subjected to torture. in the central prison in Diyarbakir, but the Turkish state was unable to obtain any information. He was a source of morale to the other prisoners in prison. He changed the course of events in the prison.

Mazloum Dogan, was prominent person , and all the political prisoners from the Turkish Left and the other Kurdish parties who were detained in the same prison affected by him, were the ones who described his great resistance and were witnesses to the inability of the prison administration and officers to deal with Mazloum Dogan.
