Planting new park in al-Tabqa with rainy weather

The campaign included the cultivation of approximately 35 different implants, including the fruitful palm and a Zanzlacht type, as well as aromatic linden.

Planting the park is a continuation of the Environment Office plan which has been in place since the establishment of the office about a year ago which has so far managed to cultivate about 10 parks with more than 750 different plants, not to mention the cultivation of the city's entrances.

Jamal Abdellatif, the co-chair of the Municipality's Environmental Office said in this regard, "These plantations were one of the fruits of self-reliance as we were able to develop them in the private nursery of the municipality."

Afforestation is often preceded by the maintenance of the parks' fences over their own irrigation networks.

Jamal Abdullatif confirmed that the next step will include the beautification of al-Alam Roundabout in the west of the city with suitable vegetation cover.

It is worth mentioning that these afforestation activities witness an active participation of the administrators of the People's Municipality in al-Tabqa as well as the neighborhoods' councils and a mass of the people of the area.
