The remarks of the leader of the Turkish National Movement Party Devlet Bahçeli came during a speech he said in front of the members of his party in the Turkish parliament, and pointed out that the Turkish economy was dealt a harsh blow by the "currency war." He stressed that the deep wound in the economy must heal for the country and for its benefit."

The Turkish leader described the high inflation rate as a monster of inflation and said the government's initiative to cut goods by 10% had very limited impact, stressing that the people are in a state of anxiety and fear for their future.

"This image (of the situation) is a concern for all of us," Bahçeli warned, according to the Turkish daily Hurriyet.
