She achieved her dream after 44 years

The masculine mentality that ruled the society imposed on them the rules and customs, restricted the freedom of women and made them captive to the house to marry and become captive controlled by a man, but after the revolution of women in Rojava which opened new horizons for women, women were able to engage in all fields of life and play their leading role.

Among these women is mother Amina Qawas, a 44-year-old mother who has been deprived of her right to learn since childhood. She has also faced many difficulties as a result of masculine mentality, but she did not succumb to this and began to work within the agricultural land and livestock, and then married her cousin

After her marriage, Amina had 10 children, 5 young women and 5 young men. Because of her love and attachment to the study, she fought the mentality imposed on them and sought to make her daughters educated.

She said in this regard "I had the right to be an educated woman who knew everything about her, but I was deprived of my right because of the masculine mentality imposed on us and defined the role of women in working at home and raising children 

After the launch of the revolution of women in Rojava, two young women and a young man of Amina's children joined the convoys of the martyrs because of their love for freedom.

Amina recently joined a training course at the Academy of the Democratic Society, where she learned about the freedom of women and the democratic nation that respects all the components and depends on women's freedom.

She said "During the revolution of Rojava and thanks to the ideology and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the martyrs of freedom, the doors of freedom have been opened before us, so we began to engage in the fields of life, and I was able to achieve my dream to learn and became a prominent among the community during my involvement to the training course which taught me many concepts including women's freedom.
