Family from Afrin flees from occupation violations, lost life by mines

A source from Afrin told ANHA agency that Mohammed Faruq Piro, 28, and his wife Tolin Rizan Piro, 21, and their one-year-old child, Jean-Mohammed Biro, lost their lives on Monday in a mine explosion on the road between Afrin and Basuta during their try to flee from the violations and harassment by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

The source pointed out that the family are from the village of Sheikh Khorzi and lived in Afrin city and they have a company to distribute the clothes, but the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries did not allow the citizen Mohammed Bero to work in his workshop only after being enforced to pay the amount of two million Syrian pounds to allow him to work, but the mercenaries were not satisfied with this and they were all the time back to him and harass him and ask for taxes and threat him. Therefore, they no longer could bear those violations, so he decided to flee from Afrin to escape the practices of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries. As they tried to get out of Afrin canton and walk to a remote road between Afrin and Brad village, a mine planted by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation and all the members of the family lost their lives.
