Ain Issa camp administration provides jobs for 90% of displaced

Nearly 90% of the Ain Issa camp's administration received job opportunities inside the camp through an employment office that was opened for that purpose, coordinating work and securing more than 200 jobs a month.

As one of the support provided by the Ain Issa camp administration to the displaced in the camp approximately 13,000 displaced people from several Syrian cities, as well as refugees from Iraq, the administration coordinates with operating organizations in the camp to provide them with employment opportunities.

An employment office was opened within the camp to register displaced persons seeking work, to coordinate with organizations within the camp that required workers and staff to work.

In order to employ the camp's displaced persons, the administration prevented the organizations from employing guards, cleaning workers from outside the camp, in order to employ the residents of the camp in these jobs and to secure their sources of income.

The office coordinates with organizations dealing with the educational situation and psychosocial support for the recruitment of the registers carried certificates, such as teachers, supervisors and other workers.

The office contributes 200-300 displaced persons monthly of both genders, inside the camp as cleaners.

In this regard, the displaced person Adel al-Hamoud thanked the camp administration and the employment office for providing him with an opportunity to work with an organization through which he managed to secure his daily strength and the needs of his family.

In the same context, the administrator Jalal Ayiaf said that the office was able to secure employment for 90% of whom demanding work.

Al-Ayiaf attributed the large number of displaced persons who were displaced daily to work in Ain Issa as day laborers for the failure of aid organizations that ignore the financial situation of the displaced, forcing them to work to secure their financial needs.

Dozens of displaced people find employment opportunities outside the camp according to the needs of workers with the provision of facilities by the administration, in addition to more than 2000 displaced persons working in the cotton harvest season in Girê Spî canton and rural al-Raqqa in coordination with the concerned parties to secure their rights.
