Manbij people: Fully prepared to defend our city

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviews with Manbij city's people and they are talking about security and stability in their city,  wondering, "What does Erdogan want from us?"

Turkish officials, led by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, once again threatened Manbij city with military invasions and handed them over to those they described as their "original people".

Erdogan said in a speech on Saturday evening, referring to Manbij "if the USA will continue its procrastination we will take necessary steps at the highest levels."

"Erdogan is threatening our city from time to time, what does he want from us? We live in security and stability in the country," says citizen Ibrahim al-Sataf.

Ibrahim al-Sataf asked about statements of Erdogan like liberating Manbij city by saying, "Erdogan always declares and threatens that he will enter  Manbij city who will he liberate the city of Manbij from its people?" Manbij city is the city of Abu Firas al-Hamdani and Omar Abu Risha run by its people, we reject Erdogan's interference in the affairs of our city,

Al-Sataf confirmed that Manbij was under the protection of its children from the forces of the Manbij Military Council and the Internal Security Forces.

In a related context, the citizen Adola Harun said, "Erdogan was a coward, where was he when Islamic State gangs executed the heads of Manbij people before the eyes of the people in public squares? Where was he when the women were stoned in the city of Manbij? After our city was liberated by the forces of the Manbij Military Council, Erdogan declared and threatened us!

Al-Ali explained, "Manbij city is protected by its children the heroes of Manbij Military Council, and we do not fear Erdogan's mercenaries, Manbij city is run by its people, and now all components are living in security and safety."

The people confirmed that they would not allow any party to attack Manbij, especially the mercenary gangs backed by Turkey, which it steal money and kill people without mercy and tamper with the security and stability of the area.
