Martyrs families: Ocalan turned his prison into school lightening freedom

For more than 25 months, the Turkish authorities have imposed systematic isolation on the leader  Ocalan. In this regard, the martyrs families in Qamishlo condemned the Turkish practices against Ocalan and denounced the international silence on this isolation.

The co-chair of Martyrs Families Council in Qamishlo canton Masoum Hassen condemned the  international plot against the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and considered this a plot  against the will of the people of the Middle East.

Masoum pointed out that the plot that targeted the leader Ocalan was thwarted  thanks to the line of resistance drawn by the leader Ocalan, and the general Kurdish people in Kurdistan and the oppressed peoples living in Kurdistan followed his thought.

Masoum Hassan explained that all the authoritarian regimes and dark powers that participated in the international plot aimed at controlling the peoples of the region, breaking their will and plundering the region's goods, so they concluded a plot against the leader Ocalan who defended the rights and freedom of peoples. He pointed out that these forces and systems handed over leader  Ocalan to the Turkish authorities after his arrest on  February 15,1999.

Masoud Hassan said that the leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan, turned the Imrali prison to a school for the people of the region and a place to spread the thought and philosophy of peoples fraternity.

Regarding the isolation imposed on Ocalan by the Turkish authorities for more than 25 months, he pointed out that it is trying to separate the leader from the people, with the aim of thwarting his struggle and said, "Our revolution is different from the rest of the revolutions as it is an intellectual, social and philosophical revolution."

The people of northern Syria who follow the philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan have shown that will and brotherhood are the basis of a decent and dignified life, and have stood thanks to the philosophy of Ocalan against all the attacks on the region."

Masoum stressed that as the families of the martyrs and as  strugglers in their fight under the philosophy of Ocalan, and said, "The freedom of Ocalan is the freedom of society."

Member of Martyrs Families Council Laila Mohammed denounced the isolation imposed on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, and denounced the silence of human rights organizations and European countries on the status of leader  Ocalan, and wondered why the Turkish state prevents the lawyer and the leader of his visit to ensure his safety and health ? "Visits and medical examinations  are the right of any prisoner in the world." He assured.

Laila Mohammed explained that Amnesty International must carry out its duties against the threat to the life of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and said, "We will not accept what is happening and we will intensify the struggle until we break the isolation imposed on our leader."
