Everyone in Twina town learning in their own language

Because the education is one of the basics of living and without it, society will not develop and progress. The teachers of al-Jazeera region have taken into account the task of returning students to school and exercising their right to education in their mother tongue.

During this year, some organizations tried to distort the curricula prepared by the Training Committee for the Democratic Society, which was prepared in the three official languages ​​of North Syria, Kurdish, Arabic and Syriac.

To learn about the validity of these rumors, Hawar news agency went to Twina town of Arabic majority. After a large turnout and a huge influx of students to schools in the town of Twina, teachers supervising schools in the town and with the support of the Education Committee in al-Hasakah, to distribute the students of primary stage to more than one school.

Bashar Shalish, explained during an interview with the Hawar news agency that he was present in the school, which is attended by 13 classes of the Arab component, 3 classes for the Kurdish component, and each class accommodates 20 to 30 students.

He confirms that all the rumors that some of the enemies of the peoples of North Syria have expressed about the imposition of Kurdish language curricula on all the components of the region, including the Arabs and Syriac, are baseless and that every student receives their lessons in their mother tongue.

"The Arab is studying the Arab curriculum prepared by the Training Committee of the Democratic Society, the Kurd is studying Kurdish and so is the Syriac, and there is no imposition by any party."

The director at the end of his speech said that the teaching staff in the schools affiliated to the Autonomous Administration is at the required level to give the student all their legitimate rights to education.

For their part, a number of students expressed joy at the opening of schools amid an atmosphere of mutual respect between the teacher and student, in addition to helping them to learn.

The Arab students confirmed that they study the curricula in Arabic and did not impose on them the curricula of the Kurdish language.
