"Manbij city is stable, peaceful"

"Nazifa Khelo noted that the people are used to hear the Turkish threats and the statements issued by the Justice and Development Party (AKP). These hostile threats come under the security and stability of the northern regions of Syria."

Turkish officials, including Turkish President Recap Tayyip Erdogan, have spoken of a threat in the last few days. Turkey has claimed that it would enter the framework of what it called the "roadmap for Manbij" in coordination with the international coalition, as Turkish officials said.

However, the commanders of Manbij Military Council (MMC)recently confirmed in previous statements with ANHA agency, "the Turkish movements are witnessed within the areas controlled by the factions (the Euphrates' Shield), and Turkey's movements will remain confined to that area with the entry into force of any joint patrols."

MMC's spokesman, Shervan Darwish, said “, what the Turkish media is saying is incorrect, stressing that there is no plan for joint Turkish-US patrols in the city and its countryside."

In an interview with ANHA, Nazifa Khelo noted that the threats to Manbij "are no longer meaningful. Erdogan claims that there is terrorism in the Syrian north. He really knows that the people of the North of Syria are the ones who fought terrorism in Syria and defeated it. And the Justice and Development Party was the one who supported terrorism, so Erdogan wanted terrorism to continue in Syria."

Nazifa said at the same context, "when Erdogan saw the end of terrorism, he began to occupy the Syrian territory and attacked Afrin city, until it became visible to the countries of the world all the Turkish crimes and its mercenaries in the occupied Syrian territories of looting and theft of civilians and kidnapping."

Nazifa Khelo pointed to Turkey's efforts to destabilize the security and stability of the cities of northeastern Syria, because the stability of the people does not satisfy the Turkish government, through the threats it launches.

She added that the democratic nation's project, co-existence and multiculturalism are not in the interest of the oppressive states. Decentralization, pluralism and democracy do not appeal to them, and they want to fail this project because they want these regions to live under power and tyranny.

She concluded by saying, " Manbij city is a stable, peaceful city, and together we can make Syria peaceful city, Turkey's threats are only to achieve its ambitions and do not serve the interests of the Syrian people."
