Turkish occupation, its gangs' violations burden Afrinis

The daily lives of the residents of Afrin have changed. The residents began to open their eyes to witness kidnappings, torture, theft and looting, so that their lives turned into  a nightmare.

Forced displacement and resettlement of mercenary families

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries have settled the families of their mercenaries, who came from various Syrian regions in the homes of the Afrin residents. The village of Maydan Akbis in Rajo district is empty of its original inhabitants and inhabited by mercenaries’ families.

As the occupation have settled more than 200 families of its mercenaries in ​​Mobata district, after the mercenaries left the original inhabitants of Mobata from their homes, so the residents had to stay with their relatives in the villages of the district.

In the context of the settling process of the mercenaries' families in the homes of the people of Afrin and the displacement of its population, some parents did not bear these violations against them and expressed their rejection of these policies, and in an attempt to a local village of Kokan in Mobata district to adhere to his home and refused to go out, the mercenaries beat him brutally and threatened to kill him if did not left.

Kidnapping and torture

According to reliable sources, 75 civilians from the villages of Mobata, Janders, Bulbul and ​​Şêrawa have been kidnapped in the last two weeks, including 25 people from Darkari in Mobata district, and 11 persons from Badina village in Mobata district. They were kidnapped during the last week and their fate is unknown until the moment. They are: Muhammad Hasan Jafar, Shaker Hasan Jafar, Hussain Mohammed Jaro, Mohammed Khalil Mohammed Jaro, Anwar Mohammed Jaro, Awni Shaban Bin Mohammed, Mohammed Shaban Bin Mohammed, Khabat Nashat Sino, Amina Ahmed Sentor, Rashid Habash Habash, Haji Abdo Habash."

The occupation forces kidnapped Mustafa Hussein Aref, Mohammed Khalil Hamdi, Aref Mustafa Hussein, Fawzi Abdeen Mustafa from Mirkan village in Mobata district, Rinas Hasan 20, Mustafa Juma Hasan 30 years old from Basuta district, Farouk Muhammad 33 years from Qastal Khidria, and "Hussein Aisho Ben Bakir 25 years" from the village of Tal Salour in Janders district. 

While the families of the hostages are being subjected to blackmail and insults in order to pay an enormous ransoms for their release.

Excessive taxes at checkpoints

In addition to looting and robbing of Afrin property and olive and pomegranate crops, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army impose heavy taxes on the roadblocks set by mercenaries on the main and secondary roads on small cars and trucks, and often hold the goods carried by traders.

According to one source, a mercenary was scolded at Trinda checkpoint in Afrin by his commander because he had collected only $ 4,300 in one day's tax.

According to the same source, the mercenaries took 250 kilograms of green olives from a civilian on the road to Maydanki.

The theft of the olive crop

Like the looting of grain, fruit, walnut and pomegranate seasons, and under the supervision of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, robberies continue on the olive fields and steal their seasons or sell and secure some of them, especially in Shiran district and the villages of ​​Şêrawa district, where an olive fountain was opened early, while generalizations of the local councils belonging to the Turkish occupation state recognizes that 10% of the production should be deducted for Afrinis in addition to the seizure of the property of absentee citizens.

In all these violations, the killings, kidnappings and robberies in the occupied Afrin continue to be carried out under the supervision of the Turkish army. However, the international community has not acted to curb these violations.
