KCK congratulates Barham Saleh on his new position

The Executive Body of the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) congratulated the member of Kurdistan Patriotic Union Barham Saleh on his victory in the presidential elections in Iraq, and expressed its joy, during a statement.

Barham Saleh won the presidential election in Iraq, becoming the third Kurdish leader to preside Iraq. The Kurdish Communities Union has congratulated Saleh on his new position and wished to be the answer to the people's problems, and in this regard the Executive Body of Kurdistan Communities Union, on Thursday, a statement to the public opinion.

The KCK stressed through the statement that at a sensitive stage as what the area undergoing of political, economic and social crisis, "we feel it is necessary to Barham Saleh get such a position."

The KCK pointed out through the statement that Saleh's access to the voice of all the components in the parliament, indicates that Saleh had good communication with all components in Iraq, and that the people expect a lot from him "and we are confident that Saleh will be responsible."

"Once again, we congratulate Barham Saleh on this post and express our great joy at this," the statement said wishing from Saleh to solve the Kurdish issue on a democratic values basis
