Education Committee in Ain Issa...compensate students of break period from schools

Schools in Ain Issa and its affiliated villages are witnessing a high demand for students in the second academic year, after several years of absence. The qualified educational staff is working to rehabilitate a new generation of students to compensate for the previous break.

The Education Committee in Ain Issa district of Girê Spî canton is working on preparing a new generation of students through the faculty members who have been qualified during the last summer vacation to carry out the tasks entrusted to them to the fullest extent.

The number of schools authorized by the committee, which opened its doors to receive the students reached to 150 schools in the elementary and preparatory stages, which can accommodate up to 15,000 students.

The academic year shows an improvement in the level of organization and discipline of students, compared with the previous school year.

The spokeswoman of the education committee in Ain Issa Hanan al-Zaher said, "Every student studies in his mother tongue, and in the fourth grade and above, the Kurdish language will be taught to the students from the Kurdish and Arab components."

Hanan Zaher referred that the teachers underwent a training course during summer. The results of the courses were positive and all educational vacancies were filled. This is considered a qualitative step forward in the development of education in the region.

It should be noted that the academic year 2018-2019 is the second academic year for the students of Ain Issa and its countryside after a break of 6 years.
