KCK: Europe considers torture in Imrali legitimate

The Joint Presidency of the Executive Council of KCK condemned the decision of the European Human Rights Court concerning the torture in Imrali. KCK also assessed Erdogan's visit to Germany and said, “Those who laid the red carpet in front of Erdogan would be burned by the fire of justice and conscience.”

The Joint Presidency of the Executive Committee of KCK also offered condolences to Omit Ajar’s family who set fire on himself last week in condemnation of the severe isolation imposed on the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The statement about the operation carried out by Ajar included, “We know that the leader Ocalan refuses to carry out such operations, but this operation expresses the attitude that rejects the isolation imposed on the leader and the decision of the European Court of Human Rights. When the dictator Erdogan went to Germany, this operation was carried out which is a massage to the European Court of Human Rights, Germany, Europe and the world.”

KCK expressed its refusal to the European Human Rights’ Court and said, “In the 21st year of the conspiracy, the European Court of Human Rights rejected a request about the torture in Imrali which means that Europe gives legitimacy to the torture system. When we consider Erdogan's visit to Germany, we know whoever supports the Turkish fascist government.

When a Kurdish young man burns himself, this expresses the condemnation against the international conspiracy and the silence towards the isolation imposed in Imrali. It seems that everything comes to serve the German bourgeoisie, and their democratic claim is only to hide the face of the occupiers. Erdogan's visit to Germany and the decision of the European Court of Human Rights dropped the mask on the face of Germany.

Whoever laid the red carpet in front of Erdogan will be burned by the fire of conscience and justice. If the European Human Rights’ Court and Germany do not want to commit a crime against history, they must abandon their position and listen to the Kurdish people and the peoples of Turkey in addition to hearing the voice of their conscience.

Once again, we condemn the decision of the European Court of Human Rights and the position of Germany, and we affirm that the Kurdish people will continue struggling to establish a free democratic life and for the sake of the freedom of the leader Ocalan.”
