Meeting for clans to be introduced to service, social problems

The meeting was held on Wednesday in al-Hina al-Gharbia village in al-Shadadi district of al-Hasaka canton in the presence of the members, clans’ sheikhs and administrators in the parties.

The meeting dealt with discussions on the living conditions and the problems that the people in the area suffer from on the service part. The meeting began with welcoming the guests; the clans and the representatives of the Autonomous Administration in al-Jazeera region by the sheikh Mohammed al-Rawi.

Then, the sheikh Nawaf al-Dekhil delivered a speech in which he touched upon the objective of the meeting as it aims to convey the problems that they suffer from to the concerned authorities through the coordinator between them and the Autonomous Administration in al-Jazeera region.

Al-Dekhil noted that the area suffers from problems from the agricultural side as there is not enough water to irrigate the crops and plants, and fertilizer is not often available to fertilize their crops and if they are found, they will be bought at high prices.

In an interview held by our agency, the head of the Conservatives Party Office in al-Hasaka Muhab al-Herith said that the consultative meeting was attended by the clans’ sheikhs of al-Jabour tribe from Deir ez-Zor and al-Hassake in order to raise their problems.

Al-Herith hoped that this step would serve the residents of the area and transfer a depiction of the problems that the area suffers from.

In his turn, the sheikh of al-Rawi clan Mohammed al-Rawi said that they hope the concerned parties to provide more chances of job to eliminate the unemployment in the area and to take their demands into consideration.

In the end of the meeting, the coordinator between the clans and the Autonomous Administration Abdeen Bader Khan said that they will convey their demands and complaints to the concerned parties.
