We to follow martyrs’ footsteps

Hundreds of Deir ez-Zor residents bid farewell the corpses of three martyrs of SDF who are Laith Ismael, Nesim al-Duda and Ahmed al-Hayes to be buried in the Martyr Hani al-Hassen Cemetery in al-Basira area in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

A mass of al-Basira people in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, the members of the Martyrs' Families Institution in Deir ez-Zor, fighters and commanders of the Internal Security Forces and SDF attended the ceremony.

After the residents received the corpses, they launched on a convoy consisted of dozens of cars towards the shrine chanting the slogans that glorify the martyrs.

As the mourners arrived at the cemetery, they held a minute of silence and SDF fighters and the Internal Security Forces performed a military parade. After that, the commander of the Internal Security Forces in al-Basira Mostafa al-Ahmed and the administrator in the Martyrs’ Families Institution Wisal Hezza delivered speeches.

They expressed their condolences to the families of the martyrs and promised to follow the martyrs’ footsteps because they sacrificed themselves for the people to live a decent life.

Then, the documents of the martyrs were read by the administrator in the Martyrs’ Families Institution Wafaa al-Jalal and they were handed over to their families.

In the end, the comrades of the martyrs carried their corpses on the shoulder and buried them in the Martyr Hani al-Hassen Shrine amid the mothers’ trills and the cheers of the residents.
