The Teachers' Union of al-Tabqa city seeks to organize and vote on its organizational structure during its first conference held in al-Tabqa city on last Wednesday19 September to raise the status of teachers by planning for several future projects prepared for this matter

The Union, currently composed of 7 members (2 co-chairs, 3 public relations, 1 finance member and 1 archive member), it plans to expand its work by establishing a council of at least 25 members to oversee the status of teachers in the three districts of al-Tabqa, al-Jarniah in the northern countryside and al-Mansoura in the eastern countryside of al-Tabqa in addition to al-Tabqa city

The Union works to raise the level of material and moral teachers as well as social and cultural organization in addition to giving them a part of the discounts provided to teachers through their presence in the records of the Union and that is in the prices of medicines and surgical operations in case they occur.

The Union also works to raise the scientific level of the teachers by organizing courses prepared for this purpose.

"We are in the Teachers 'Union, plan to provide housing for teachers with reduced discounts by establishing their own housing associations in the future. We also want to establish educational institutes for teachers' children in nominal fees in honor of their efforts in the building of man, " said member Mohammed al- Masoud.
