Teachers Union’s constituent conference ended

The activities of the first constituent conference of the teachers in Deir ez-Zor ended by adopting the rules of procedure and electing an administrative body that is consisted of 7 members.

Under the slogan “The Teachers Are the Engineers of Minds and the Stores of Wisdom,” the first constituent conference of the teachers held in the meetings hall in al-Kesra district in Deir ez-Zor, and delegations from North and East of Syria and hundreds of teachers of Deir ez-Zor countryside attended.

The activities of the conference included delivering speeches by the participant representatives in addition to reading the rules of procedures, discussing it and then approving it unanimously.

The rules of procedures included the Teachers Union and its goals that are represented by defending the teachers’ rights, considering the raise of their financial and moral levels, working on giving them a health guarantee handbook and seeking them socially and culturally for the teacher to be able to take their responsibilities towards the society.

The works of the conference concluded by electing an administrative body for the Teachers’ Union in Deir ez-Zor that includes 7 members.
