'We to protect our martyrs' gains by our will'

AL-HASAKAH

Hundreds of Serê Kaniyê people bid farewell the body of the martyr in the Military Discipline Forces, Bashar al-Ali, the nom de guerre Jekdar Serê Kaniyê who was martyred on  September 18 as a result of cancer, and the corpse of the martyr Mohammed Ibrahim of SDF, who was martyred on  September 18 in the Battle to Defeat terrorism to liberate Hajin area.

After receiving the martyrs' corpses of Roj Hospital in Serê Kaniyê, the residents started a procession consisting of dozens of cars towards the Martyrs' shrine in Serê Kaniyê.

At the shrine, the funeral ceremony was organized, and began with holding a minute of silence.

 Then the administrator in Martyrs Families Council Sherin Sheikhi delivered a speech and said, "We say to all our people that we will protect the achievements of our martyrs with our steel will. We also pledge that we will avenge the martyrs and follow their path to achieve their goals."

The commander of the People's Protection Units, Azad Welat, called on the people to follow the path of the martyrs and protect their gains and added, "In order to win a free and dignified life, we sacrificed precious, so we must protect this life and be as good as our martyrs."

Then the two martyrs' documents were read and they were handed over to their families. And at the end of the ceremony the bodies of the two martyrs bid farewell amid chanting the slogans which glorified the martyrs.
