Employment Office in al-Raqqa provides jobs for more than 2500 people

After the declaration of liberation of the area of ​​al-Raqqa within the Wrath of the Euphrates campaign and al-Raqqa liberation campaign, a civil council was established in 18 April 2017, in which the employment office emerged from the Social and Labor Affairs 'Committee, which seeks to provide jobs for citizens.

Aiming to reduce the unemployment rate, the employment office in the Social and Labor Affairs' Committee is always busy as citizens wishing to register their names flow to seek for a job opportunity in the civil institutions of al-Raqqa Civil Council.

The office works to provide employment opportunities in all specialties (workers - guards – university and institutes graduates) in civil institutions of the Civil Council of al-Raqqa as well as humanitarian organizations.

The number of applicants to the Employment Office reached 20,000, with more than 2,500 citizens employed in institutions and councils.

The administrator of the Employment Office of the Social Affairs and Labor Committee, Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi said "We receive on a daily basis applicants for job opportunities, and during this period the office is overcrowded and the applicants are selected by conducting competitions and appointing them according to the certificates and professions they work in, whether they are guards or drivers,"

He said," in the coming days, job opportunities will be provided to the applicants further. In this month, we will have a competition for the school guard, we will employ 600 workers and 300 workers in the Education Committee at the Civil Council of al-Raqqa.
