As part of the series of meetings held by the Future Syria Party (Aleppo branch), the party's Women Bureau held a meeting on Sunday to introduce the people to the party and the role of women in the political field. Moreover, the meeting was held in the meetings hall in the eastern part of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Women Bureau, the Women Office of the Democratic Union Party, the National Democratic Alliance of Syria, as well as female politicians and intellectuals, the communes’ administrators and dozens of the neighborhood's women.

In the meeting which began with holding a minute of silence, the head of the Women's Organization Bureau of the Future Syria Party (Aleppo Branch) Khalida Abdu said that the age of the Syrian crisis has been long, and that all the meetings whose goal was the solution failed as they could not stop bleeding. Kalida continued, “The Syria Future Party was established at a time when the area needed political mobility."

Khalida Abdu added, "We believe that the political participation of women will help to draft the constitution of the country as well, and this will support a decentralized Syria."

Khalida Abdu said, "In most of the parties in Syria, the role of women was very weak so the Syrian women have paid the bill of the war more. In this sense, the Syria Party plays the role of equalizer between the two parties and tries to achieve equality between them."

At the end of the meeting, Khalida Abdu appealed to the women to join party’s offices and play their role.
