"Al- Shadadi Reconciliation Committee" means to resolve outstanding issues

Each area has customs and traditions that are in line with it, especially in the eastern areas of Syria, being tribal, entering the traditional nature of solving its crises and internal problems away from the government courts.

In order to ensure the democratic and human autonomy of the people, and to ensure that the people adopt their principles away from the regulations established by the authorities that ruled the area and used all fields to serve them, including the courts, the reconciliation committees and social justice were formed in different cities and areas of North Syria,

The committee, formed on July 10, 2018, consists of two offices and seven members of its tribal dignitaries in the district whom living together.

Despite the short duration of the opening of the Committee, it had resolved 500 of the 800 cases at the district level, without having gone to court where it had been settled by mutual consent.

"As far as possible, we try to resolve all issues away from the courts in a dialogue we have with the other parties," Ahmed al-Muhaisen, a member of the reconciliation and social justice committee said.

Most of the issues resolved have centered on issues related to agricultural land, property, inheritance distribution and vengeance issues.

"When the case came to us, we were able to solve it without the need to take it to court," he said. "The most important issue that has been solved is a vendetta between two clans" al-Mamra and al-Hib" the dispute between them had been lasted for 4 years and this dispute is resolved by dialogue we have with them noting that the two tribes are the largest clans in al-Shadadi.

Al-Muhaisin thanked the Democratic Autonomous Administration, which took care of this sensitive issue and left the solution for the people of the case themselves away from the administrative courts.
