Regime shells Idlib countryside, Moscow continues claiming

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Russian warplanes and helicopters and that belong to the Syrian regime continue to intensify their raids and strikes on the areas of the Russian-Turkish truce which began to be implemented on August 15.

It has been monitored that the high number of raids carried out by the Russian aircrafts which reached 68 raids on Khan Sheikhun and al-Letamna and places in al-Temana, Hayish, Serj and Abedin areas in conjunction with launching more than 19 barrels of explosives on the areas of Khan Sheikhun, al-Halba and Tal Aas, Babulin and al-Letamna, al-Seyad and Kafer Zita in the south and south-east countryside of Idlib. Furthermore, this is considered the most severe shelling since August 10, where these raids are the highest during the entire period of validity of the Russian-Turkish truce.

In another context, the desert of Damascus countryside that is located at the administrative border with the countryside of Suweida is witnessing violent clashes on its axes between IS mercenaries on one hand and the regime on the other hand.

The clashes are concentrated in al-Safa hills area as part of the continuation of the military operations of the regime forces and their allies in order to end IS.

While the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the leaders of the mercenaries of Hayet Tahrir al-Sham (Jabhet al-Nusra) and the Islamic Turkestan Party held a meeting in Idlib on Friday with the participation of local coordinators of the White Helmets.

It added, "This meeting included the final coordination of the scenarios of conducting and depicting the incidents of the alleged use of toxic materials by the regime forces against the civilians in the residential gatherings in Jisr al-Shoghur, Seraqeb,Teftenaz and Sermin by Saturday evening.”

It also stated that the full readiness of all participants in these provocations must be completed by the evening.
