Mercenaries fled Afrin due to YPG, YPJ operations

Dozens of mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army are fleeing towards the Turkish territories because of the military operations carried out by the People and Women's Protection Units (YPG, YPJ) and Wrath of Olives operations room.

A local source told ANHA agency that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army are fleeing Afrin towards the Turkish territories through smugglers belonging to the mercenaries of al-Hemzat Division and Ahrar al-Sharqiyah after the operations carried out by the protection units and Wrath of Olives operations room.

The source quoted from a smuggler pointing out that about 20 to 50 mercenaries with their families had fled Afrin via smuggling.

According to the source, two weeks ago, about 300 mercenaries and a commander of Jaish al-Islam and Faileq al-Rahman fled by smuggling for fear of the Turkish occupation army.

On the other hand, the source (J.B) from Khalil village in Mobata district quoted from one of the commanders of mercenaries saying that the mercenaries are looking for smugglers to flee towards the Turkish territories for fear of the battles.

The source pointed out that the mercenaries are afraid of the operations carried out by the People Protection Units and Wrath of Olives' operations room against the mercenary gangs and their commanders and added, "There are also many contradictions and chaos in the ranks of the mercenaries."
