2 mercenaries killed during YPG’s operation in Afrin

The Media Center of YPG said in a statement published on Thursday that their fighters carried out an operation targeting the mercenaries of al-Jabha al-Shamia in Shera district in Afrin canton within the second stage of the Resistance of the Age.

The center pointed out that a military vehicle carrying mercenaries among them a mercenary responsible of looting the properties in Dikmadush village was ambushed and resulted in killing two mercenaries and wounding two others.

The center mentioned the names of the four mercenaries and they are Hussein Alittu from Tel Rifat, Mazen Jawish from al-Sham, Omer Keno from Azaz and the mercenary who is responsible of the looting group Abdel Rahman Al-Jader from Jarabulus.

The statement included,

"Within the framework of the second stage of the Resistance of the Age in Afrin area, our units carried out a qualitative operation targeting the mercenaries of al-Jabha al-Shami in Shera district.

On September 5, our fighters ambushed a military vehicle that was carrying four elements of the al-Jabha al-Shami mercenaries, including an official responsible for looting and thieving the civilians’ properties in Dikamdush village of Shera as they were intending to sell the olives harvest that belong to the people. The operation resulted in killing two mercenaries, wounding the two others seriously and destroying the vehicle.

The names of the elements killed and wounded in the operation are Hussein Alittu from Tel Rifat, Mazen Gawish from al-Sham, Omer Keno from Azaz, and the official responsible for the looting group Abdel Rahman al-Jader from Jarabulus."
