Tens of mercenaries fled Afrin with their families

A familiar source from in Janders area of Afrin canton which is adjacent to the Turkish borders stated that dozens of mercenaries gathered with their families whose number exceeded 50 individuals on Monday morning near Kenj home in the village of Aghjila of Janders in preparation to head towards the Turkish territories.

The source confirmed that the mercenaries crossed the Turkish territories illegally on Monday afternoon, fleeing the territories of the canton after a series of special operations carried out by the People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ) and the Wrath of the Olives operations room against the elements, commanders and mercenaries of the Turkish occupation within the territories of the canton.

The special operations carried out by YPG, YPJ and the Wrath of Olives operations room and documented with videos since the occupation of Afrin lands on March18 by Turkey resulted in spreading panic and tension states among the mercenaries and their commanders which led to fleeing hundreds of settlers and mercenaries from Afrin.

After Turkey has occupied Afrin, YPG and YPJ announced on March 18 the 2nd stage of the Resistance of the Age and warned the mercenaries, the Turkish occupation army and the settlers to stay in Afrin and considered them legitimate targets for their forces.

Before the Turkish invasion, Afrin canton used to be one of the safest areas in Syria and a safe haven for hundreds of thousands of people, fleeing the conflict in various Syrian areas.

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that the mercenaries and their families have fled Afrin. We have already published information stated by local sources from Afrin that the mercenaries are trying by various means to get out of Afrin and go to Turkey.
