Belgian delegation visited Rojava

The delegation arrived on Saturday at the headquarters of the Foreign Relations Body. It includes the Belgian parliamentarian Georges Dallemagne, the journalist Jean Pierre Martin, the journalist and photographer Samuel Leslie, the journalist La Libra Christophe Lamphlussy and head of the Terrorist Attacks’ Victims Institution which targeted Europe Philippe Vastenkiste.

The delegation was received by the co-chair of the Foreign Relations Body in al-Jazeera region Abdul Karim Omar.

The purpose of the visit is to be introduced to the reality of Rojava Revolution, the institutions of Rojava, the human rights’ violations that take place in Afrin by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, the violations of IS mercenaries in addition to holding discussions on these matters.

At the meeting that brought together the two sides, the political future in Syria and the areas occupied by the Turkish occupation army such as Afrin and others were discussed.

The delegation said in regard of Rojava Revolution that women are exemplar in all fields and stressed that they will become an example of the world.

Abdul Karim Omar said that the Turkish occupation state threatens the areas liberated by the People's Protection Units (YPG) and the Syria's Democratic Forces (SDF), and said, "The Turkish occupation state is moving against human rights. It continues its attacks on Afrin and Rojava's areas in a filthy way. Turkey's mercenaries also pose a threat to the entire world. We must cooperate to eliminate those mercenaries."
