Hawar news agency held a meeting with the Spokesman of the Revolutionary Guards' Delshir Idilbi, to discuss the latest developments in Idlib, particularly with the launching of raids by the regime forces on several sites in the province.

The following is the text of the interview:

- Will the Syrian regime enter Idlib without battles and how will that be?

As happened in many Syrian areas under the control of mercenary gangs supported by the Turkish occupation army, the Syrian regime will enter to the city of Idlib, according to the agreements of Sochi meeting, within fake battles and clashes.

The handing over of Idlib to the Syrian regime will have a different character, with the largest Syrian opposition factions and brigades expected to be on the pretext of fighting terrorism.

Why did the Turkish attitudes towards the mercenaries in Idlib have changed, and why was their presence considered a threat to the neighboring countries, knowing that it is Turkey that supports the mercenaries?

As for the Turkish situations, they did not change, however, as agreed at the last meeting of Astana, and the changes in the Russian situations, the Turkish state was enforced to change its situations and reached an agreement to fight the remaining terrorist factions in Idlib.

The agreements that took place in the settlement of Idlib between the remaining opposition and the Syrian regime require a Russian-Turkish partnership to receive the crossings.

- When will zero hour start and who has the authority to determine the timing of the start of the campaign on Idlib?

The Turkish occupation army is still in Idlib. It is expected that there will not be a zero hour immediately for the battle of Idlib before the beginning of 2019. We also expect that the Idlib extradition agreement will be in three stages, starting first with the delivery of Damascus-Aleppo-Lattakia highway.

This agreement comes to secure the Russian forces on one hand and Turkey on the other until it is time for the redeployment of Turkish forces outside the territory of Idlib and the western Aleppo countryside.

What is the fate of Idlib?

In partnership with the factions and opposition gangs in Idlib, Idlib's fate will be inevitable for the Syrian regime, with Turkish pressure on the gangs within the area.
