Ocalan's thought consolidates freedom, struggle against tyrannical regimes

Derik area  and Girkê Legê district councils issued a statement to denounce the isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan. Representatives of  Derik and Girkê Legê district councils  gathered in the courtyard of the Martyr Xebat, and the statement was read by the administrator of the Democratic Society Movement  (DEM –TEV)Tajaddin Farho.

The text of the statement:

The leader Ocalan has been arrested and put in isolation for almost 20 years so that the peoples of the region remain without organization and defense. Nevertheless, the leader Ocalan performed his historical duty through his writings and books. He explained to us and to all the peoples of the world the methods of ideological struggle against the capitalist system. Thousands of people through the path of thought and philosophy of the leader and for that Isolation is increasing every day on the leader.

The Kurdish people and the peoples of the region led by the philosophy of leader Ocalan organized themselves in an intellectual struggle against the capitalist regimes by virtue of analyzes of leader Ocalan and thus built the defense force of the democratic nation.

We, as the councils of the Derik and Girkê Legê district decry and denounce the isolation imposed on leader Ocalan. In order to end this isolation, we call upon all revolutionary, democratic and humanitarian forces around the leader of humanity leader Ocalan. "
