Salah Kenjo, a resident of Berrad village of, was deceived by the Turkish occupation and returned to his occupied village .

Kenjo pointed out that the Turkish occupation state aims to steal and loot the monuments and civilization of the region, and he quoted the people as saying that mercenaries are giving what they find to the Turkish occupation state.

Salah Kenjo called on the concerned organizations and the international community to work to prevent the Turkish occupation from plundering and excavating the area.

An overview of Berrad village

Berrad is famous for its rich historical monuments, including the tomb of the Syriac and the most famous Syriac figures in the second century, Mar Maroun. In 2010, the shrine became a place for thousands of Christians after the construction of the Julianos Church by Lebanese President Michel Aoun.
