By His factory, he serves his homeland

The family of Abu Ahmed, who preferred not to be named because he is going to the areas of the regime, is an Aleppean family, originally lived in Aleppo city, but with the control of armed gangs on the city, he was forced to leave the city of Aleppo and go to Afrin, which was been protected by YPG, YPJ and because he saw it safe haven and warm bosom unlike other cities.

After spending several years there, Abu Ahmed and his family moved to Manbij city to work there, but with the control of ISIS on the city he was forced to leave the city and this time he has gone to al-Jazeera region and lived with his family in al-Shadadi district of al-Hasakah canton, he had opened a batteries' factory there.

The factory serves the entire Eastern area with 50 to 60 batteries per month distributed to accredited people in all cities, the production exceeds 60 batteries in winter

ANHA news agency interviewed the owner of the factory, who explained how the work and the quantity of production are done, the old batteries are collected at the beginning followed by smelting stages, then they are categorized into two types of lead: soft bullets and hard lead, the hard lead is used in materials and the connecters within the battery, the soft lead has grinding stages and end in the formation of lea oxide, where it used as a putty for the battery.

He added that "our work is all manual work, where we examine the batteries before the distribution to the authorized reserve for any defect, after which we distribute the batteries to all accredited from the regions of Rojava and North Syria region, including Deir ez-Zor, al-Raqqa, Dêrik, al-Darbasiyah, al- Hasakah and Ain Issa."

The production capacity of the plant ranges from 50 to 60 batteries per month, as the number increases during winter to about 100 batteries.

He said that the area enjoys security and stability unlike other cities in Syria, thanks to the People and Women Protection Units, and Syrian Democratic Forces and the Democratic Autonomous Administrations formed by the region's components.

At the end of his speech, Abu Ahmed said that his goal is to serve the people of the area and rely on homeland-made products, calling on the concerned parties to provide the necessary support for him to expand his project.
