Women Committee of FSP met al-Akirishi women

The meeting was attended by members of the Women Committee in the Future Syria Party Roqaya al-Alo, Jelaa Hemzawi and Vian Raqqa in addition to dozens of women in al-Akirishi, al-Kesrat and Retlah areas of the southern countryside of al-Raqqa city.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence that was followed by a speech delivered by the member of the Women Committee in Future Syria Party Jelaa Hemzawi who said, "We want to take out women from the reality in which they live and rid them of some old customs and traditions that restrict their freedom so women must participate in all political and social life to be able to play their role in managing and changing the society and get rid of the exclusive mentality imposed by IS mercenaries on them during their control of the area."

For her part, the member of the Women's Committee of the Future Syria Party Roqaia al-Alo said, "The participation of women in the liberation process was a positive step towards the liberation of women in the north of Syria to rid them of the bitter reality that they have suffered from in the past few days."

While the member of the Future Syria Party Vian Raqqa stressed the need to activate the role of women in the areas of Al Shamiya line to have an effective role in all areas of life and return to their usual role of community management.

Furthermore, the meeting ended with opening the discussions among the attendees and the members of the party on how women organize themselves and play their role in institutions, political parties and others.
