19 Turkish soldiers killed

HPG’s media center issued on Saturday a statement to the public opinion, revealing the results of the operations carried out by the Guerilla Forces.

The statement said:

"In the framework of the revolutionary campaign launched on behalf of the 2 martyrs Pîroz and Agirî, our forces carried out operations on August 3 in Colemêrg city, and accordingly, we give you this information:

Our forces monitored a military unit that belongs to the Turkish occupation army near Harki village in Şemzînan district of Colemêrg of Bakur Kurdistan for a long time. At 09:50, our forces dealt it blows. In this operation, a Turkish soldier was killed and several got wounded. After the operation, the Turkish army shelled the area with mortars.

Our forces carried out an operation against the Turkish occupation soldiers stationed on Şukrê hill in Kalişim area in Şemzînan district of Colemêrg city. Our forces successfully dealt blows to the positions of the Turkish army, killing 2 soldiers. After the operation, many soldiers fled the hill.

Our forces carried out an operation against a military convoy of the Turkish army at 22:10 when the convoy was moving from Wergnema post to the center of Gever. In the operation, an armored vehicle was destroyed and 10 elements of the Special Forces of the Turkish police (POH) were killed.

In the framework of the revolutionary campaign launched on behalf of the Martyr Dalal and Basta Martyrs, our operations continue against the Turkish army’s forces in ​​Çemê Kerê area in Berwarî in Sêrt city. According to this,

On August 3 at 16:00, our units, the Free Women Units–Star, carried out an operation against a military unit of the Turkish occupation on the Martyr Sorxwîn hill. According to the information received, the operation resulted in killing 4 soldiers.

On August 4, at 8:30 am, our units, the Free Women Units–Star carried out an operation against a Turkish unit positioned on the Martyr Sorxwîn hill for the second time. Our forces dealt the point of the unit harsh blows, destroyed it and killed 2 soldiers."
