Arab women formed council in Tal Hamis

QAMISHLO

In preparation for the second conference of Kongra Star in Rojava and northern Syria, Kongra Star in Tal Hamis organized a meeting of women from the area and the countryside to form a council for Arabic women and other women of the areas' components.

The meeting was held at the Cultural Center, attended by dozens of women from the district, as well as the directors of Kongra Star in Qamishlo canton, Ghalia Najjar and Delal Qamishlo, and the directors of Kongra Star in Tal Hamis Amal Abbas and Jouza al-Haasoud and the co-chairs of the district councils and towns.

After holding a minute of silence, Amal Abbas the administrator in Kongra Star Conference for Tal Hamis read the rules of procedure of Kongra Star to the attendees.

Ghalia Nejjar  the administrator in Kongra Star of Qamishlo canton said "Every women's organization has the right to organize themselves under the roof of the Kongra Star ".

Ghalia Nejjar  said "We will form Kongra Star Council in Tal Hamis which will include 13 members of the area's women, including 3women, and the rest will be distributed to the committees, and they are," Protection, Training, Economy, Health, Relations, Reconciliation, Municipalities and Culture)

After delivering the speeches, the elections were held among the voters at the ballot box. 13 members were elected, of whom 3 were women, and the remaining 10 were to be included in the committees.

At the end of the meeting, the women who won the elections promised that they would be worthy of everyone's good judgment.
