Rojava Revolution launched on legacy of resistance

The Training Committee of the Kurdistan Community System issued a statement published on its official website on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the launch of Rojava Revolution, and the text of the statement is:

"Revolutions are the most holy products carried out by the people against authoritarians, colonizers, and dictatorial and tyrannical regimes in order to obtain their rights and freedom.

When the authoritarian regimes do not recognize the rights and freedom of peoples and oppress the people under pressure and denial, deny their culture, language and fate then there is no solution for the people but revolution. In other words, the revolution has become an indispensable necessity. It is the revolution of July 19th that under these circumstances and conditions and under the light of these facts sparked the first flash in Kobanî six years ago in 2012 and spread step by step to all parts of the area. The revolution of July 19th that was led by women and young people resonated throughout the world as the revolution carried out a great legacy as the resistance of July14 with safe steps as it made great progress step by step.

The revolution of July 19th was a position against the Baath regime, and it raised the morale of the people towards freedom. This revolution was carried out by the women, youths, and the peoples of the area; Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs and Turkmens.

Today, we celebrate the 6th anniversary of the July 19th Revolution

The system of emancipation of peoples which was woven with the thought of the leader Ocalan works to build the democratic nation's system, and resist the defense of its existence in all aspects. At the same time, Rojava Revolution has become a revolution of language and education for children and young people as we are now actively training the democratic nation in Rojava and northern Syria.

This revolution has become the voice of the oppressed and democratic peoples of the world. We, as the Training Committee of KPC congratulate the leader Ocalan, the freedom’s fighters, the national people and all the lovers of the revolution on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the revolution of the Jul 19th. We commemorate with all respect and appreciation all the martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the protection of the revolution, and pledge to follow their path. "
