According to sources inside the camp, the two missed children are the child Iman Mohammed al-Nehyan who is 2 years old and lost her life after being infected with measles and the 2-month-old Mohammed Mahana al-Halawi who lost his life after suffering from jaundice.

The reason of the death is the lack of a medical point in the camp

The health situation of the two children deteriorated. At night, with the attempt of both families to save the children by resorting to a medical center outside the camp, an ambulance was not available causing their condition to deteriorate and that caused their death at night.

The displaced Samira al-Saeid said, "Our children are facing death because there is no medical center in the camp."

Ahmed Mohammed, a refugee in Twehina expressed his resentment for the lack of the health care in the camp whose number of families exceeded 2,050 displaced families.

The Kurdish Red Crescent and Médecins Sans Frontières are sometimes present in the camp for up to two hours in the morning and with very limited means.

It is noteworthy that the camp was established before the end of the year by local popular efforts to help the fled from the Syrian areas, but the expansion of the battlefield on the Syrian map forced thousands to flee the conflict areas in Aleppo, Hama, Homs and Deir ez-Zor to resort to it.
