Turkey's mercenaries burn more than 4,000 trees in a week in Afrin

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue their violations in the Afrin canton. In addition to kidnappings, killings and theft, they burn agricultural land and olive trees in Afrin. Today, they set fire to more than 1,000 trees in Khuziana village in Mobata district.

A source from Khuziana village in Mobata told ANHA agency that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on Friday set fire to the agricultural land behind the village of Khuziana al-Tehtani village in the north-east of Mobata district in Afrin canton.

The source confirmed that the fire burned about 1000 olive trees belonging to the villagers, while the fire is still burning and heading towards the valley of Shih district, and fears of swallowing thousands of trees amid the mercenaries did not allow the people to extinguish the fire.

Earlier this week, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries set fire to 2 hectares of forest trees in al-Nashabiah valley (Gali Terra) on the road leading to Rajo district, where more than 3,000 olive, oak, pomegranate and grapes from the western side of Atmana village of Rajo district.
