KCK: We to achieve al-Sheikh Saeed, his comrades’ aspirations

The Joint Presidency of the Executive Council in Kurdistan Society Organization released a written statement, in which it commemorated al-Sheikh Saeed and 49 of his comrades on the 93rd anniversary of their martyrdom, it also commemorated the struggler Zilan Kenaji.

The statement included, “On the 93rd anniversary of executing al-Sheikh Saeed and 49 of his comrades, we commemorate them and renew the covenant to liberate Kurdistan and achieve their dream. We also commemorate our comrade Zilan who carried out a guerilla operation in June 30, 1996.”

The statement added, “Executing al-Sheikh Saeed and his comrades in Sor has made a high moral value for the resistant of 2015 winter. The martyr Jigar and his comrades used to remember at each moment of resistance that al-Sheikh Saeed and his comrades called for the freedom of Kurdistan even on the gallows sticks.”

‘Without their sacrifices, freedom’s struggle would not emerge’

The Kurdistan Society Organization said in its statement that al-Sheikh Saeed and his comrades embodied the Kurdish people’s conscience, morals and aspirations against the policies of elimination and colonization. Without their repelling the colonization and without their sacrifices at that time, the struggle of freedom and democracy would not emerge.

It also added, “The first Kurdish strugglers such as al-Sheikh Saeed, Ihsan Basha, and Saed Rida put the bases of the Kurdish people’s resistance, and the Kurdish people are in their dept.”

‘At the critical time, the martyr Zilan was turned into a commander’  

The statement also included, “The martyr Zenab Kenaji also proved how the positions would be in the critical times, and put the bases of Kurdistan Revolution before her people and comrades so she must be considered a commander of the critical times, and her struggling approach must be adopted in the domains of struggle.”

Kurdistan Society Organization concluded its statement calling for all the fighters and the Kurdish people to escalate struggle in order to achieve the dreams and wishes of al-Sheikh Saeed and his comrades and the martyr Zilan till a free Kurdistan and a democratic Middle East would be achieved.”
