Though young, he undertakes responsibility

The child whose name is Hussein Abdullah at 13-years a resident of Aleppo, fled with his family to Ain Issa camp in northern Syria after their home was destroyed by air strikes. He has two sisters younger than him. His father is currently wounded by shrapnel of Islamic State’s gangs before arriving to Manbij city a year ago.

Hussein family is suffering while humanitarian and relief organizations do not move till now to help his family, he cannot attend school like all peers, founding himself in charge of a family though too young.

Hussain worked in restaurant in Ain Issa when he arrived to the camp, before a displaced person donated a small tent to sell some kinds of food and sweets, after saving some of his savings and taking some money from one of his relatives in the camp, collecting 25,000 SY to opened small stall.

The child, Hussein, says that the reason for the opening of such stall is the need and poor living status after they have lost their home and his father, becoming displaced in a camp without leaving them anything.

The situation of the Hussein family, as well as the rest of the families in the camp, is not different. Most of the families in the camp are needy families with only a tent to shelter them.

Hussein's like his peers in the camp left school as a child, without adequate care either by their families or having a concerned party interested in them.

"We do not ask the organizations to save our childhood, but we ask them to help us in what we are going through in this ordeal," Hussein said.

Hussein and all his young comrades face the difficulties of life in hope for better future, and their eyes will someday look back to their homes and live safely and end the war in the country.
