Afrin city is witnessing an alert state after 3 consecutive explosions took place in the city on Wednesday noon in the light of the intensive patrols conducted by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, and cutting off the main roads in the city in the light of obtaining reports about the possibility of imposing a curfew.

The authorities of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries closed all main and sub roads in the city and put checkpoints in the main points of the city, and the mercenaries and Turkish soldiers spread in all the streets of the city which some sources from inside the city reported that that comes as movements to cover something because there was no long time between the explosions and the closure of roads.

Several sources pointed out that the real executor of these bombings is the Turkish occupation which is legitimizing its existence with weak pretexts, such as its attempt to impose itself as the creation of safety and the main officer of the mercenary factions within the area. Various sources from the district and from several sides mentioned that in both bombings, there were large losses in the ranks of the mercenaries in addition to losing many civilians to their lives and wounding a number of children in the three bombings.

While the other hospitals in the city registered a state of full alert to receive the victims and wounded as al-Salam hospital received 4 killed, including 3 civilians, and 19 wounded, including 17 civilians.

Reports noted that clashes erupted between the mercenary factions near the place of the first explosion in al-Sinaa area between al-Jabha al-Shamiya (al-Shamiya Front) and the brigade of al-Motasem Billah.

In Afrin, on Wednesday at 12:30 pm, two explosions took place in front of the former Local Administration building (the headquarters of al-Shamiya Front mercenaries now) near Kawa Square through blasting a booby-trapped white vehicle of Hyundai-type which resulted in heavy losses among mercenaries.

While the 3rd explosion was carried out by a booby-trapped vehicle near Dêrsim Hospital and resulted in inflicting significant damage to the civilians’ houses in the vicinity of the hospital, in addition to penetrating the volatile fractions of the vehicle some of vehicles whose number was about 5 and which belong to the civilians.
