Iraqi refugees arrive to Manbij fleeing from Adlib camps

On Saturday, more than 100 Iraqi refugees crossed from Aoun al-Dadat crossing point in the northern countryside of Manbij coming from Adlib camps and entered to Manbij area headed toward al-Holl camp in al-Jazeera region, then they will return to Iraq after coordination with Iraqi government, stressing they were exposed to severe injustice and torture by Turkish occupation army and its gangs.

Iraqi refugees have suffered injustice for nearly a year and a half because they were not allowed to work and leave Salqin camp in Idlib and so they went to Aoun al-Dadat crossing in the northern countryside of Manbij at the border between the mercenaries-held areas of the so-called the Euphrates Shield and Manbij Military Council to cross into Manbij and go to al-Holl camp in al-Jazeera region and stay in it until the consideration of their affairs and return to Iraq.

In this context, Hawar news agency (ANHA)'s correspondents went to the crossing and interviewed with a number of Iraqi refugees. Esraa Hashim, a refugee from al- Anbar, Iraq, she is mother of six children, said that she had been displaced for almost two years, fleeing the oppression of Islamic State's gangs.

Adding that their displacing was also attributed to seeking for security and safety after destruction of their homes and looting of their property, noting that they were displaced to Salqin in the Syrian city of Idlib, and there were also exposed to harassment and injustice by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

In the same context, Iraqi refugee Akram Hassan said, "We have been displaced fleeing from brtual practice of Islamic State's gangs and from war which erupted in our areas ." Hassan pointed out that he had been living in Salqin camp in Idlib for a year. They have severely suffered and were insulted by Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, In addition to being beaten and humiliated when they tried to cross into Turkish territory in search of work, but were prevented and returned to the camps.

It is worth noting that approximately 215 Iraqi refugees crossed Aoun al-Dadat crossing towards to al-Holl camp 15 days ago, in cooperation between the Internal Security Forces and Democratic Civil Administration to Manbij and its villages, to send them to Iraq as soon as possible after coordination with the Iraqi government. Today, about other 100 refugees have crossed.
