Girê Spî women: We freed from injustice

A number of women from Girê Spî canton have expressed their joy on the third anniversary of the liberation of their city, and confirmed that the liberation of Girê Spî was to free women from injustice.

On the sidelines of the celebration held at Girê Spî on Wednesday on the occasion of third anniversary of the liberation of the canton from IS mercenaries, Hawar news agency held several meetings with women from different categories in this context.

Lucian Matosian, an Armenian citizen, congratulated the liberation of the canton from IS mercenaries who advocated that the liberation of Girê Spî brought them freedom, the freedom of customs and traditions of the Armenians.

"Thanks to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this land, we celebrate today, and I congratulate all the people of the area on the third anniversary of the liberation of our city," Media Hassen from the Kurdish component said.

Media noted that the liberation of Girê Spî is the liberation of women from injustice, and she hoped that all the Syrian territories would be liberated from terrorism.

In turn, the citizen Shadia Haj Alishe of the Arab component valued the great sacrifices that were presented to liberate the city, and hoped that next year will be the celebration of all the Syrian people for liberating Syria from terrorism and building a new Syria where everyone will live in harmony and love.

It is worth mentioning that Girê Spî city was liberated by the People and Women Protection Units (YPG,YPJ) from IS mercenaries on 15 June 2015.
