As the 7th turbine was categorized as the most affected among the 8th sets after its structure was severely damaged.

The 7th turbine in the hydroelectric Euphrates Dam is the 4th that has been mechanically repaired during the last eight months, all of which are self-made efforts that did not exceed the workers in the dam from engineers, technicians and workers within the available resources.

The specialists are currently focused on ensuring the validity of rotary motor effectiveness of the nose after cleaning the sliding rings.

It is worth mentioning that the turbine has been classified as mechanically ready about a week ago while waiting for some technical barriers to electrically, which may delay the use of them effectively and enter the generation phase to nearly two months from now.

It is noteworthy that The General Directorate of the Euphrates Dam reduced the periods of rationing electricity in al-Tabqa and countryside during the holy month of Ramadan to alleviate the suffering of citizens fasting in Ramadan and is expected to return to the rationing system after the end of Eid al-Fitr.
