HPG: AKP-MHP's mercenaries assassinated fighter Fayiq Ager

HPG's media center published a statement regarding the killing of the national figure Fayiq Ager, in which it said:

"Since 2015, the fascist authorities of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) and its ally MHP have been pursuing an occupying war in Kurdistan, but our movement and our people are fighting against these schemes which fail day after day thanks to that resistance.

The occupation forces defeated by the resistance of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement and the people of Kurdistan are trying today through the plots and massacres to frighten our people and create contradictions in the ranks of our movement and our people too. The Turkish occupation has previously committed thousands of criminal offenses by the AKP-MHP mercenaries, and continues to pursue this policy until their hand extended the national figure Fayiq Ager in Alki related to Sharnakh on May 24.

This crime has a great meaning at the moment as it came before of the elections of June 24, through which the Turkish state tries to intimidate the people of Botan, while the area of ​​Kashura is a national area and as long as it always maintained the values ​​of Kurdistan, it is certain that our people would respond appropriately to the perpetrators of this brutal crime.

We offer our deepest condolences to Fayiq Ager’s family and pledge to hold the enemy accountable for the massacres and crimes committed against our people."
