ANHA documents names of 72 citizens killed, abducted by Turkish occupation 

BASIL RASHID /AFRIN

Since the beginning of Afrin's occupation, killing and kidnapping have not stopped, in conjunction with the continuation of the demographic change, where the term murder and kidnapping has become the language of Afrin's citizens. There is hardly a day when cases are registered of murder, torture and kidnapping of Afrin city's civilians.

These killings and kidnappings coincide with the looting and theft of civilians' properties by Turkish occupation army and its gangs. This made Afrin, which was the safest area before the occupation, witnessing insecurity and instability.

People are often never released and their fate is still unknown. They are frequently tortured and live in constant fear of being killed.

The abductees are subjected to torture and other beatings and ill-treatment in the cellars, many of them are threatened with death and often subjected to electric shocks. Several of them were killed after being tortured or killed without trial or other measures.

ANHA documented the names of 72 civilians who were kidnapped and killed by the Turkish occupation army, whose status has not yet been determined.
