Saleh Kado: We must accelerate the holding of Kurdistan National Conference

Hawar news agency (ANHA) held interview with the Secretary General of the Democratic Left Party and a member of the presidential body of Kurdish National Alliance in Syria, Saleh Kado on the necessity of holding National Kurdistan Conference, pointing to the importance of accelerating to held the conference, describing it as the turning point.

The parties must work to unify the Kurdish class

Saleh Kado, at the beginning of his speech, touched upon the sensitivity of the situation experienced by the Kurdish people and Kurdistan in general, saying "This stage is an opportunity for the Kurdish people to prove themselves and achieve their goals for their Kurdish cause, and at this stage we need more than ever before to close ranks and leave the partisan differences aside, and work to find a plan of action to build a unity between the Kurdish parties, our people need to hold Kurdistan National Conference to be the common speech of the Kurds.”

Saleh Kado confirmed that this is not the first time that the Kurdistan National Conference has been suggested pointing "There was discussion about holding such a conference in 2013, but it was not held because of partisan differences. This led to a delaying it and there was no initiative by some political parties to hold the Conference".

Kado pointed out that it is the duty of some Kurdish parties to work to accelerate the convening of Kurdistan National Conference, on top of it is Kurdistan Workers party (PKK), Kurdistan Democratic Party and the  Kurdistan National Union and Peoples Democratic Party, stressing that these parties have a major role to resolve the Kurdish issue away from personal interests.

Those who stand in front of Kurdistan National Conference must be held accountable

Kado pointed out that the Kurdish people realized that the holding of Kurdistan National Conference is the salvation of the conspiracies and plans that are being hatched against it by the hostile countries that are trying to undermine their legitimate rights. He added "Those who oppose and do not want to hold this conference must be held accountable and the people have the right to hold them accountable. Many problems stands in the way of his case and the speech of his people."

Saleh Kado said the recent elections that took place in Iraq and said, "had the participation of the Kurds in these elections been with one list, they would have got more seats in the parliament, but on the contrary we saw that the Kurdish parties participated in the elections individually, which negatively affected the Kurds and their representation in Parliament.”

Holding a national conference is the only solution to end the plots

Kado explained that holding Kurdistan National Conference is the only solution to put an end to the differences between the Kurdish parties. "In order for the Kurdish people to take the most serious steps and achieve greater achievements at the level of Kurdistan, when there are partisan differences between the parties, which are subject to the enemy and works in his favor. A good example of this is who sold himself and participated in the occupation of Afrin with the Turkish occupation army, and had a hand in the killing and kidnapping of hundreds of Afrin children, including children and women. They represented the line of betrayal of the Kurdish cause and work for their personal interests and interests of the enemy, The Kurdish people are also showed his position towards those parties ".

Kurdish parties must move away from personal interests and follow the line of resistance

The Secretary-General of the Democratic Leftist Party and a member of the presidential body of the Kurdish National Alliance in Syria, Saleh Kado, called on the political parties to unite their ranks in the current stage and move away from narrow partisan differences and follow the line of struggle and resistance and work on the national project away from partisan interests to achieve the goals and demands of the people. The Kurdish National Party must clarify its position, saying "it claims to be the owner of the Kurdish issue while they are working within the Syrian Coalition and their mercenaries played a major role in the occupation of Afrin."
